About the Role:

As a Software Development Engineer 2 (UI Development - React), you’ll join Adobe’s Hendrix platform team—an $800M revenue engine supporting global Sales and Support Advisors. The role focuses on building modern, responsive, and dynamic UI solutions that enhance customer experience across Adobe’s web, mobile, and desktop interfaces.

This is a crucial hands-on engineering position where you’ll work on designing and developing user-facing features in React, ensuring performance optimization, scalability, and seamless interaction between design and technology layers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop rich, interactive, and high-performance user interfaces using React, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Translate wireframes, user flows, and graphic designs into functional, responsive UIs.
• Write reusable, maintainable code aligned with development standards and 100% unit test coverage.
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and QA teams to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility compliance.
• Participate in technical design discussions, peer code reviews, and feature ownership from concept to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues to improve the customer experience.

Key Technical Skills:

React JS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, UI/UX design patterns, MVVM architecture, Unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha), Web performance optimization, Cross-browser compatibility

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of professional experience in UI development, with at least 2 years focused on React.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Deep understanding of UI design principles, user experience patterns, and front-end architecture.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Experience with data structures, object-oriented design, and algorithmic problem-solving.
• Familiarity with commerce application development is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
